Luna was imported from Ireland as a 4 year old and spent just over a year at the RDA. She proved too forward going for this type of work, and is better suited to a more active life. She has a fantastic nature, is very quiet and easy to do, but equally is not a plod and has a good work ethic. Because she is forward going & very clever she is not a novice ride, she requires an experienced and competent rider to bring out the best in her. I have had her nearly two years and have mainly hacked and schooled on the flat. She has potential in dressage as she has three good paces, has started lateral work and is a very quick learner. She hacks out alone and in company and is not spooky. Can be ridden through open fields without getting strong or silly. Not seen much traffic due to where we live. Loads and travels perfectly in a trailer or lorry. Excellent with the farrier, currently unshod as has very good feet. Would suit a one to one home where she can enjoy mainly hacking out and some schooling for fun. She is currently out of work and will require some time spent getting her fit again. This is a very sad sale due to a lack of time, happy to loan to the right person. All homes will be vetted and I am in no rush to sell.
