Very lightly shown in past year due to other commitments, but was clear and 2nd in his one and only Intermediate WH and won the ridden coloured at Echt show.
Comment Qualities
Sadly for sale due to absolutely no fault of his own, a lovely horse who is 100% to do and can turn his hoof to just about anything, so far has done everything asked of him willingly, in his previous home he has evented, hunted, SJ, dressaged, I only did two shows with him last year one WH and one Ridden Showing he is 110% to hack, has stable manners to burn but has a hang up about vets, needs twitched to get his annual jabs, mind so would I!! He can be cheeky and will test any new rider/handler out, no malice just cheek and this will all be discussed in great detail if anyone is interested in him.
He loads into any trailer or lorry and travels beautifully, you wouldnt even know he is on board, and happily stands all day at shows in trailer or lorry, I have never tied him up outside wagon so dont know if he would stand but he happily stands tied up outside stable for as long as it takes to faff about him!! I would honestly say he is suitable for a novice BUT due to his cheek I would prefer him to go to a more experienced home and preferably on a one to one basis as he likes his work and as I have so many I cannot do him justice and he is wasted with me I have a newly backed four year old coming home soon and with 4 others to ride I just dont have time for him, this is going to be a hard sell and he will only be sold to a 5* home, I would happily consider a local (Aberdeenshire) loan home with a view to buy should the right home come up.
He is fully passported and upto date with his teeth and jabs, he was passported at a later age before leaving Ireland so there is no DOB on his passport BUT vet and dentist have aged him as rising 10.
