| Comment Qualities | This charming black homozygous warmblood tobiano colt sired by the KWPN approved stallion "Paddox" by Olympic Ferro out of the successful Keur Preferent dressage mare "Janirma" by Darwin. Paddox competed in the Pavo Championships qualifying twice for the World Championships in Verden receiving the highest scores competing up to Grand Prix Dressage like his sire Olympic Ferro. Ferro whilst reknown for his international dressage success with Coby Van Baalen sired by "Ulft" contains the great jumping blood of the Selle Francais approved KWPN stallion "Le Mexico" and the Holstein blood of "Farn" that brought us "Nimmerdor Ulft being out of the Keur Preferent mare "Pia" by Perciles xx.
Le Mexico was the first stallion to ever achieve a perfect 10 from the KWPN for his jumping qualities, out of the Selle Francais mare "Peche Melba" by "Brule Tout"
Zesiro's dam is also a very special "Keur" mare "Odille" who competed successfully up to Medium level dressage herself by Samber out of the ster mare "Butterfly" by the Thoroughbred stallion "Erkus" Odille is a full sister to the approved AES stallion Ferdinand (Pie In The Sky) and full sister also to "Maike" the dam of the Danish approved stallion "Boston" by Voice (De Niro x Rhodiamant)
His damline also includes an interesting array of bloodlines, sired by the International showjumping stallion "Karandasj" successfully competed under Willem Greve, was a grandson of yet another Olympic participant the great "Darco" out of the Keur Preferent mare "Corrie" by Irco Polo. Corrie is also the dam of Kahlua, with whom Eric Lamane won a silver medal at the Pan-American Games in 1999. The 1.40 m. show jumper Volvo's Dollar Girl is also full sister to Corrie. Darco was a combination of 2 pillars of the Belgian breeding, Lugano and Codex. The sire Lugano van La Roche had a splendid breeding record. The Lugano son, La Ina, ridden by Peter Charles, won the European Championship in 1995. Flugel daughters crossed with Lugano produced the tremendous jumpers "Porche" Pluco, Pico and Egano which won Olympic medals and top Grand Prix and championships. Darco was Champion of Belgium as a 5 year old. Winner of the Belgian Championship as a 6 year old, winner of the Volvo World Cup in London 1988 and in Hertogenbosch in 1989. 6th in the World Championships in Stockholm in 1990 and 7th place in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 and 2nd in the richest Grand Prix in the world at Calgary.
The maternal damline also introduces yet more approved stallion lines. Whilst Rebell was an unapproved stallion that served a number of mares primarily for his coloured robe, his dam "Laba" was by the pinto Trakehener stallion "Karczwew" approved by the Polish studbook. Laba was also dam to the Zfdp approved pinto wb stallion "Colorado" in Germany
The mare "Diorella" a Hanoverian mare by Masai son of Matcho out of the Duellant descendant, "Diana" by Duell. Duellant's most significant progeny include "Dux" competed with great success by Dr. Reiner Klimke, Duellant left his mark on almost every German breed, in Bavaria it was Duell, in Mecklenburg Duell I and Don Juan, whereas in Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt the genotype of Duell II was disseminated. Westphalia on the other hand, secured itself several Duellant sons in Dualist, Duft III, Doktor, Ducker and Durchlaucht.
The combination of this colts bloodlines in his pedigree puts him in good stead as a future sports horse but also as a potential breeding sire. His homozygous genetic makeup guarantees that he will sire coloured foals 100%.
With Paddox and Karandasj homozgous for black it is highly likely that he will always produce bay / black tobiano foals even when bred to chestnut mares.
He moves with a great deal of suspension well mannered, wormed, vaccinated and micro chipped.
As his dam contains no Samber blood he is not line bred to Samber.
